Weather Situation

Surface:

At 9:00 on the 21st, the NPP area was sunny with a southwest wind of 1-3m/s on the ground and a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius.

 

Upper weather:

The weather situation for the next three days is as follows: from 10:00 on the 21st to 10:00 on the 22nd, the area will be controlled by southwest winds at altitudes of 500 meters in the lower and 1500 meters in the middle layers, with wind speeds of 8-12m/s. From 10:00 on the 22nd to 10:00 on the 23rd, the southwest wind gradually changed to the northwest wind, with a wind speed of 8-12m/s. From 10:00 on the 23rd to 10:00 on the 24th, the northwest wind is the main control, and the wind speed increases to 14-16m/s. From 10:00 on the 21st to 10:00 on the 23rd, the upper 3500 meters were controlled by westerly winds, with wind speeds ranging from 10-12m/s. From 10:00 on the 23rd to 10:00 on the 24th, it increased to 16-18m/s. In addition, there will be sporadic light rain from 10:00 on the 23rd to 10:00 on the 24th.

 

Trajectories

 

Tracers from 500 m will move toward northeast by Wednesday, and then will northeastward accompanied with the depression. Tracers from 1500m and 3000m move toward northeast. All tracers reach northern part of Japan 12:00UTC Wednesday, 22 and move toward northeast.     

 

Exposure

 

The exposure will spread toward north-east in first 72 hours. The exposure in first 24 hours will cover the area around the HANBIT-3 NPP; the exposure in next 48 hours will cover the northeast area of the NPP and the exposure in next 72 hours will cover Japan Sea and Japan mainland.

 

Depositions

 

The deposition will spread toward north-east in first 72 hours. The deposition in first 24 hours will cover the area around the HANBIT-3 NPP; the deposition in next 48 hours will cover the northeast area of the NPP and the deposition in next 72 hours will cover Japan Sea and Japan mainland.
